All our tour prices are fully inclusive from Beijing into the DPRK and back to Beijing. This covers the cost of roundtrip flight Beijing-Pyongyang- Beijing, all travel within the DPRK, meals, tour guides, and twin room accommodation. For single travellers we will try to find a same-sex member of the group for you to share with or you can opt for a single room at an extra cost $60.00 per night. The tariff excludes DPRK visa fee (approximately $75), the Mass Games tickets, (approximately $100), your additional expenses (souvenirs, extra drinks, etc) and optional tips for the guides and driver.
We still offer the very good value for money, our tours are the best available due to our many years experience, we accompany more tours than any other US company so we are on the scene to make constant improvements and our long-standing relationship and weekly communication with our Korean counterparts means we are much more hands-on that anyone else.

The prices on this website are correct as of today, however, New Korea Tours reserves the right to raise or lower its prices at any time. After your tour voucher is issued – your tour price is fixed, so please book early. We also reserve the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices (both before and after your confirmation has been issued). Please note, changes and errors sometimes occur. Flight/train prices can increase out of our control and any increase in fee may be passed onto the tourists.

Deposit of $200.00, paid with check, money order or major credit card, is required at the time of booking the tour. We absorb credit card transaction fee for deposits. Partial payment 60% of the after deposit balance, paid with check, bank wire or major credit card, is due at least 60 days prior to the tour’s start date. Remaining balance is due at the mandatory pre-tour meeting in Beijing office at 4:00 PM (16:00) one day prior to departure to DPRK, paid in cash (USD, Euros or Chinese RMB) only. As a convenience, remaining balance can be prepaid together with partial payment also 60 days in advance. Credit card transaction fees, charged by PayPal, or bank wire fees will be deducted from any payment (except deposit) and net amount received will be reflected in the voucher. There is no surcharge when paid by USD check or money order.
Every tourist will be issued tour voucher indicating itinerary, amount paid and balance outstanding. New Korea Tours can not guarantee that any upgrades or other changes will be honored at the last moment.

Discounts are not available for Budget Tours
$200.00 deposit is refundable with $30.00 refund processing fee. Deposit becomes non-refundable 60 days prior to the tour’s start date if the tourist cancels himself.
Should the customer wish to cancel after partial payment has been paid, it becomes non-refundabe 45 days prior to the tour’s start date. Those who prepaid their tour in full will receive the difference between full and partial payments up to 7 days prior to the tour’s start date. Whithin 7 days prior to the tour’s start date or in case of no-show all money paid will be forfeited.
Please remember that DPRK is not your regular tourist destination, reliable communication is required before the tour. If the customer do not respond to our emails within 5 days, his tour may be canceled, subject to cancelation fees and refund policy above. This will be considered as cancelation by the customer with all applicable penalties. Please check email daily during pre-tour period.
Please be sure that you will definitely be joining the tour when you send your partial payment.
If however New Korea Tours cannot arrange visas or for whatever reason it is not possible to travel to DPRK at the specified time (or you cannot make rescheduled dates) a full refund will be made.
All travelers to DPRK require to obtain Travel Insurance with emergency medical option. You can purchase travel insurance on your own at your home country or at the pre-tour meeting in Beijing for 300RMB (up to 7 days) or 400RMB (up to 15 days) in cash only. No customer will be taken in DPRK without insurance.
Important information on Visas. We cannot guarantee we can get you DPRK visa or that the tour will not be cancelled; however our contacts in the DPRK give us priority and the best opportunity of visiting this remarkable country. Please be warned that we cannot confirm visa issue until it has been stamped by the DPRK consul in Beijing. If for any reason we cannot get you a visa – New Korea Tours cannot be held liable for the travel and hardship expenses incurred in getting to Beijing. In this case New Korea Tours will issue a full refund of payments made to New Korea Tours.
ITINERARY. New Korea Tours will do their best to ensure the itinerary is similar to the one we advertise however if on arrival it changes we cannot be held responsible. Even in the case where we promote ‘special occasions’ such as Mass Games we cannot guarantee access to the event. We advertise and promote our tours according to the advice given by the Korean International Travel Company (KITC) and their decision is final. We cannot offer refunds for tours once you are in the DPRK. It has to be understood that situations such as this can arise. If this is not acceptable we would advise you not to visit.
INSURANCE. We cannot be held responsible for any mishap to yourself or your property and in particular any consequence or effects of flight/train cancellation/delay, robbery, sickness, Government intervention or other such happenings. You are advised to insure yourself against any possible risk that may occur and in particular to ensure that sufficient insurance has been obtained in respect of any dependant relatives. It is your responsibility to be covered by insurance which must include adequate cover for baggage, medical expenses and the cost of repatriation should you become too ill to continue. Any claims must be directed to your insurers. We will require you to sign a form stating that you have adequate insurance coverage and that New Korea Tours will not be held liable for any medical expenses you may incur. If you have a medical condition which may affect your health or safety in North Korea you must inform us before visa application.
During pre-tour orientation meeting at our office in Beijing we will require you to sign a form stating that you are not a journalist and that you will not publish anything about your trip. We are sorry to have to insist upon this but at the present time journalists are not permitted to enter the DPRK.
