PM: Monument to Party Foundation - commemorates the 50 years of Worker's Party rule, Juche Tower - 150m stone tower with lookout platform at the top and great panoramic views of the city. Drive to Mt. Myohyang via Ryongmun Caves (2 hrs)

International Friendship Exhibition - a series of enormous subterranean exhibition rooms housing gifts given to the DPRK’s leaders by foreign political figures, notable figures, politicians and organisations, Pohyon Buddhist Temple Historical holy temple that originates from 1042, Manpok Valley hike
PM: Return to Pyongyang (2 hours),
Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum (Korean War Museum) - hear and see the DPRK version of the conflict, Schoolchildren’s Palace Performance
OVERNIGHT: Yanggakdo Hotel, Pyongyang
AM: Drive to Kaesong (2.5 hours) - a historical city near the DMZ which avoided being destroyed in the Korean War, Panmunjom/DMZ - the demarcation line between North and South Korea, local park & pavilion, Sonjok Bridge
PM: Concrete Wall - observation post deep in the DMZ where you can view South Korean positions and see the anti-tank barrier which stretches across the peninsular, Tomb of King Kongmin - beautiful twin-domed tomb of the 31st King of the Koryo Dynasty and his Mongolian wife, Kaesong Koryo Museum - relics of the ancient city, Return to Pyongyang
