PM: Moranbong Park, local Funfair, Golden Lane Bowling Centre - where Pyongyangers go for their ten-pin fix, also has some early 90s arcade games, expected Mass Dance in Kim Il Sung Square

AM: Mangyongdae Native House - birthplace of the DPRK founder Kim Il Sung, Mansudae Art Studio - Pyongyang’s centre of artistic excellence, Pyongyang Metro (extended ride) - the deepest in the world, take a ride with the locals, USS Pueblo - tour the American espionage ship captured in the 1968
PM: Monument to Party Foundation - commemorates the 50 years of Worker's Party rule, Juche Tower - 150m stone tower with lookout platform at the top and great panoramic views of the city. Drive to Mt. Myohyang via Ryongmun Caves (2 hrs)

PM: Return to Pyongyang (2 hours), Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum (Korean War Museum) - hear and see the DPRK version of the conflict, Schoolchildren’s Palace Performance

AM: Drive to Kaesong (2.5 hours) - a historical city near the DMZ which avoided being destroyed in the Korean War, Panmunjom/DMZ - the demarcation line between North and South Korea, local park & pavilion, Sonjok Bridge
PM: Concrete Wall - observation post deep in the DMZ where you can view South Korean positions and see the anti-tank barrier which stretches across the peninsular, Tomb of King Kongmin - beautiful twin-domed tomb of the 31st King of the Koryo Dynasty and his Mongolian wife, Kaesong Koryo Museum - relics of the ancient city, Return to Pyongyang

PM: Boat trip from central Pyongyang to Mangyongdae area, Mangyongdae Funfair, Sports shooting range, Koryo Traditional Medicine Clinic, Pyongyang Diplomatic club for evening entertainment and dinner

AM: Flight to Mt. Paekdu, drive to the mountain, ascend to the highest peak in Korea, panoramic views and a picnic at the crater lake.
PM: Paekdusan secret camp (official birthplace of Kim Jong Il), Rimjongsu Waterfall, Samji town

AM: Samjiyon Grand Monument (giant array of statues telling the story of the guerrilla army in the mountains), to airport, flight to Orang airport, drive to Mt. Chilbo area
PM: Tour of the mountain range, multiple peaks and rock formations, stunning views and scenery, local beach and homestay village (the only place it is possible to stay with locals in the whole country)
OVERNIGHT: Homestay Village, Mt. Chilbo
AM: Drive to Chongjin, DPRK’s 3rd largest city and a major industrial centre on the North East Coast
PM: Chongjin Revolutionary Museum, Central Square and Kim Il Sung Statue, Steelworks Kindergarten, Fisherman’s Club for nightlife
OVERNIGHT: Tourist Hotel, Chongjin
AM: Drive back to Orang airport, stopping at local revolutionary sites and scenic spots, picnic at a beach
PM: Flight to Pyongyang, Museum of Metro Construction (shows the efforts of the builders of the Pyongyang Metro under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung), Pyongyang Pizza restaurant, Paradise micro-brewery

AM: Drive to Wonsan (4hrs) – major city on the east coast of Korea
PM: Wonsan docks and Central Square - the moored Mangyongbon-92 passenger ship to Japan is based here and the statue of the President overlooking the harbour shows the importance of this port to the DPRK, Songdowon Schoolchildren’s Camp - where Korean children (and also those from overseas sometimes) spend some weeks in summer, playing and learning

AM: Drive to Hamhung (2.5hrs) A major industrial city on DPRK’s east coast which was closed to tourists from 1945 until 2010 when Koryo Tours became the first company to take people there, stopping at truckstop along the way
PM: City park & Statue of President Kim Il Sung, ancient pavilion for for city views - set on a hillside on the edge of town this area affords views over the city centre and farmland outside of the metropolitan area, Hungnam Fertiliser Factory - a rare chance to see a bit of heavy industry, Hamhung Grand Theatre- the iconic building of the city, dominating the central area and bordered by a pleasant lake and park.
OVERNIGHT: Majon Guesthouse, Hamhung

AM: Relaxing time at Majon beach, Vinalon Complex
PM: Drive south down the coast back to Wonsan via Tongbong co-operative farm, stopping at scenic spots, etc. Lake Sijung.

AM: Drive to Outer Kumgang, former Hyundai resort for South Korean tourists, Guided hike into the Kumgang mountains for amazing views and scenery
PM: Brief trek around Samil Lagoon, pavilions and islands, Drive to Pyongyang, Koryo Hotel revolving restaurant for panoramic view of the city, farewell dinner and party!
