ATTENTION US PASSPORT HOLDERS ONLY.

The Department of State declared U.S. passports invalid for tourism related travel to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea) effective  September 1, 2017. This travel ban is subject to yearly renewal/expiration, or early termination by U.S. Secretary of State. There is no restrictions for travelers using non-U.S. passports (including dual citizens/passport holders). We will keep you updated.

 

All tour prices include outbound flight from Beijing to Pyongyang and train return back to Beijing. Tourists pay $100.00 extra for plane return to Beijing, but they have an option to return by train without surcharge. Dandong/Sinuiju extension is available only with return by train. Return train arrives to Beijing the following morning at 8:30 AM. Please see flights and train schedule at the bottom of Independent Tours page.

 

All tourists are required to attend mandatory pre-tour meeting at Beijing office one day before departure to DPRK at 4:00 PM. Complimentary transportation to Beijing airport from the office will be provided on the morning of departure to Pyongyang. List of hotels in close proximity to Beijing office will be provided.

During visit to Kumsusan Memorial Palace (Mausoleum of late DPRK leaders) men should wear button-up conservative shirt and tie.

Extensions and extras

All tourists arrive to Pyongyang by plane from Beijing. Return train arrives to Beijing the following morning. Tourists pay $50.00 plane return fee if they choose to depart DPRK by air, but they have an option to return by train without surcharge. Dandong/Sinuiju extension is available only with return by train
